Spec Public Relations Writing - The Philadelphia 76ers

In my first semester of senior year, I took a hands-on public relations writing class, where we picked a client and had a different form of writing due each week. My client was the Philadelphia 76ers, and here are my writing samples from the class. Each Tuesday, we drafted a different kind of "real-world" PR writing, and we edited our classmates' work using AP Style to adhere to journalistic editing techniques. Our final project consisted of accumulating assignments for every semester to create a final portfolio. I gained the most knowledge of the industry throughout the class, which helped me feel more confident in my ability to replicate similar writing pieces.
